PART ONE

The concept is that Scylla and Charybdis are a lovely lesbian couple, living with one another, experiencing struggles with drugs and depression, like any other couple, however they're both dead with no real explanation. They don't eat people or suck their blood or anything they're just dead, eliminating the factor of impending death hovering over their relationship while also intensifying their commitment to one another. Each song is written from the point of view of either Scylla or Charybdis.
